((Some of this may have changed. I've been toying with a few alternate ideas so we'll see.. *Grins* ))
Well, everyone's been wanting to see Ryoga so here he is! He's the older brother of Crystal/Zen. He also happens to be a lightning/fire dragon. His particular fire is blue however..
Ryoga and Crystal both have a third brother whose where abouts are unknown. This little anti-hero is the one who causes trouble for the Monks, Wuya and anyone else who gets in the way of his goal - or Shen Gong Wu.
Ryoga and his sister Crystal/Zen both hail from a kingdom where they were the next in line to rule. However, Ryoga's Shen Gong Wu using recklessness and behavior ended up with him being ousted from the throne. Leaving his sister to take up the kingdom as in her parents eyes she was more of what a ruler should be, a warrior, calm, collected, rational, but not afraid to take charge when needed. His parents fully intended on pairing her off with a man from another kingdom. He didn't care too much about that until the man started to show signs of simply wanting the kingdom one way or another. Crystal at first couldn't believe it as the man had charmed her into falling for him.
On the night that Ryoga proved to her that he was indeed just out to destroy the kingdom and kill them off they found out just how far the treachery went. Their youngest brother had even sided with the man. Crystal was both hurt and heartbroken while Ryoga told her it was time to take action or they'd lose the kingdom and their home. Though crushed his sister fully agreed and the two charged forward, unfortunately it ended with what seemingly was the death of their brother and the rest of their family were 'assumed' dead. After seeing the 'death' of her younger brother, being betrayed by her fiance, and almost seeing them die at their own hands, even if he had been bad... she lost it. This left Ryoga with no choice but to flee with his sister while he could get them both out of there alive. Once away he used the Wushan Geyser on her to remove her memories of everything. - - In turn he told her that he had saved her from the kingdoms streets and that he'd continue to protect and that she was a brave warrior. Helping her to remember some things about herself but not.....more than what was needed. Completely excluding everything other than him being the next heir to the kingdom and that he would try to take it back some day. They both agreed to the quest and from then on ...they've been plotting on how to take it back. After all, they were just 2 dragons...
Now that the Shen Gong Wu have been reactivated after 1,500 years the prince has every intent on getting them to help reclaim his kingdom. Anything in his way is fair game to getting it's butt kicked or toyed with. -- As a fun note he loves toying with machines and making toys for himself - like a morphing cycle. He and Jack are half and half on the getting alongside. To be honest...Ryoga tends to have a hard time getting along with anyone due to his sass and 'lone wolf' personality.
((This is just something I made up on the spot.. XD Dunno if I'll keep it...but here we go. Crystal will most likely never fully remember what happened either. It's something Ryoga is adamant on keeping hidden from her. Also I don't want to delve into that and make it seem like a 'sympathetic' aspect. It's literally there to just give a history on them so everyone knows why Ryoga does what he does. It will literally not have much to do with Crystal's present at all.)
