So...this is my very first full out fan art piece for Xiaolin Showdown! I've been working on this piece on my livestream for 2 days. I have to say this is the fastest I've managed to get out a full inked and colored picture with BG in a LONG time. I hope you guys enjoyed watching that.
Anyways, here we have my OC Crystal aka Zen meeting Chase Young for the first time. She actually manages to creep up on him and catch him by surprise. Which is where the title of this particular piece comes from.
Crystal: Alright, Heylin Warrior, why are you so interested in my brother?!
Chase: Impressive. No one usually has the ability to sneak up on me, and for the record, I have no interest in your brother. I'm far more interested in those Xiaolin monks that he happens to be tailing. However, your talent here has now intrigued me as well.. *smirk*
Crystal: Thank you for the compliments warrior. *puts away her weapon* However, I am uninterested in anything you may have to offer. Other than protecting my brother from his recklessness, I don't really have an interest in fighting. I'm more of the peaceful or overprotective sister type. You need not worry about us getting in the way of your plans, whatever they may be. He's merely after a few lightning/electrical based Shen-Gong-Wu to help with his own personal fight in his kingdom.
Chase: Fascinating and so what should I call you then, m'lady?
Crystal: My name is Crystal and what is your name warrior?
Chase: Chase Young.
Crystal: *her eyes widen in surprise* Well then, Chase, perhaps we will meet again sometime. For now, I must catch up with my stupid brother...see ya! *vanishes*
